How It Works
Zumba classes are typically about an hour long and are taught by Siôn- lee your instructor who is licensed by Zumba Fitness, LLC. The music comes from but not limited too the following dance styles: cumbia, salsa, merengue, mambo, flamenco, chachacha, reggaeton, soca, samba, Brizilian Funk, hip hop music, axé music and tango. Zumba is one of the most versatile fitness, as classes can be geared for any fitness level
We take the “work” out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Once the Latin and World rhythms take over, you’ll see why Zumba® Fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise. All with Siôn-lee's unique and entertaining style, makes it a workout thats effective? Check. Super fun? Check and check.

Zumba is a total-body aerobic workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, boosted energy and a serious dose of awesome each time you leave class, that provides a large calorie consumption. Typically, a person burns 500 to 900kcal plus, with an hour-long Zumba exercise
Besides its high calorie burning benefit, Zumba can help lower the risk of heart disease, reduce the blood pressure and bad cholesterol, and increase your good cholesterol.

In each class you'll burn calories while toning arms, legs, abs and glutes. Plyometric or explosive moves like high knees, burpees, and jumping jacks are interchanged with isometric moves like lunges, squats, and kickboxing. THE HIGH ENERGY POOL PARTY WORKOUT

JUST ADD WATER AND SHAKE
A high-energy workout and makes it lower impact, meaning it won't have such a harsh impact on muscles and joints.
If you're someone who doesn't like cycling or running because it hurts your knees, and would much rather take a power yoga class to burn calories, you'll love this workout.
Water creates natural resistance, which means your muscles still get worked during the class, and you'll get that nice toned body you've been trying for.
Aqua Zumba classes are for every age and gender, making it a workout that's pretty much perfect for everyone. People who are healing from sore muscles can take on this class to not skip out on working out, but don't have to worry about taking on such a high-impact workout.
One hour of Aqua Zumba can burn about 700 calories and brings all the fun, music, and laughs that Siôn-lee brings to class members. It's a much higher intensity workout than water aerobics, but still keeps that same low-impact goodness. Plus, it's a party in a pool, so you will leave laughing and with a huge grin on your face, not many workouts you can say that about.
